I've been freaking out about the show this weekend and not feeling ready enough for it. However I'm still going to go and make the best of it. I will aim to have fun myself and make it a positive learning experience for Kachina.

Part of why I'm going, even if we're not totally ready, is that you never know how things are going to work out with horses and I want to "make hay while the sun shines". There's been a lot of recent injuries/lamenesses in bloggerland, Paddy and Brego at Wyvern Oaks, Gina at Hand Gallop (back to her normal self now thankfully), TC at A Enter Spooking, Prairie at Pia's Parade (okay, this one isn't so recent), and now Speedy at Bakersfield Dressage.

I'm super grateful that Kachina is sound and healthy right now and so we're going to go out and make the most of it. This one's for you guys (and all the best wishes for full recoveries all around).

Doesn't she look super show ring ready?
(Going to tackle some of the shagginess tonight)

  1. You'll be awesome! Stay positive and focus on having fun and making it a good experience and you can't lose. :)

  2. That is a great attitude to have!

  3. Great attitude! Can't wait to hear about the show :)
