It was good to bring some of the old hunter/jumper stuff out of storage!
Funny story about that saddle pad... I was in France for vacation when I was around 12 years old and I was so excited to find an English riding section in a random sports store (at that time all tack stores I knew were western only, back home English stuff could only be mail ordered), I bought this saddle pad there. It was the only piece of "Parisian fashion" I ever bought lol! =-P
Don't worry, she will still be a dressage pony 90% of the time :-)
Partly I'm doing this because cross training is physically good for us both (I can really feel her lifting her back as she does trot poles) and it would be nice for us to be well rounded. Partly I am doing this so we can get into a group lesson over the fall/winter because we both need a little social riding in our lives.
She is so cute as a jumper pony! I like that hunter green shade on her also ;)

she looks better as a dressage pony (but I'm biased...) :D
ReplyDeleteTruthfully she looks great and fit too!
